About
Alexa
I’m Alexa Griffith and I have been practicing mental health therapy in Indiana since 1999. I received my Undergraduate and Masters Degree from Indiana University. Initially I was called to provide counseling services as a school counselor, then began providing mental health therapy in group practices in 2006. I established my private practice in 2011. I have my Indiana License in Mental Health (2004), and Clinical Addictions (2012). I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (2004) as well as a Registered Play Therapist (2009).
I enjoy spending time with my husband, 4 children, and dogo named Pepper. When I am not engaged raising my children, I love to travel, walk my pup, support the community in civic duty, read about medieval European history, enjoy films and broadway, and be in the sun.
Experience
20 years of counseling experience in a variety of settings.
All roads led me to exactly where I am today. I am able to combine my experience with school aged children, parents, Masters Degree students, residential therapy, and individuals seeking therapy in private settings to best provide you with a tailored session and plan to meet your individual needs. My experience allows me to offer a judgement free environment for all who are wanting to heal at their own pace.
